How we work

We believe good accounting and tax work requires structure and calm.

At Aidos, work is organized through clear processes, defined responsibilities, and realistic expectations. We rely on systems, procedures, and documentation — not improvisation or last-minute heroics.

What that means in practice:

  • Clear division of roles and accountability
  • Predictable workflows and deadlines
  • Written procedures and internal standards
  • Structured review and escalation where needed
  • Respect for personal time and boundaries
  • No “always available” culture
  • No chaos disguised as flexibility

We value professionalism over speed, and consistency over short-term intensity.

Much of our internal work builds on documented processes and shared knowledge. This approach is also reflected in the professional articles we publish for clients and colleagues alike, which form part of our shared knowledge base.

Our internal processes and standards are supported by a clear governance framework that defines how we work, take responsibility, and maintain professional integrity across the firm.

Who we usually look for

We are not constantly hiring, but we are always interested in meeting the right people.

Typical profiles that fit well at Aidos include:

  • Accountants with Bulgarian accounting education and experience in local reporting
  • Payroll specialists familiar with Bulgarian payroll and social security rules
  • Tax consultants or accountants with a strong interest in Bulgarian tax legislation
  • Junior professionals who want to learn the profession properly within the Bulgarian system
  • Senior professionals who appreciate structure, autonomy, and responsibility

Please note:
Our work is based on Bulgarian accounting, tax, and payroll regulations. For this reason, relevant Bulgarian education or equivalent local qualification is required for accounting, payroll, and tax roles.

More important than a long CV is mindset:

  • Care for correctness and detail
  • Interest in understanding why things work, not just how
  • Willingness to follow procedures — and improve them
  • Ability to communicate clearly and responsibly
  • Comfort working in an international, English-speaking environment
  • Respect for colleagues, clients, and deadlines
